in the city of Kampala in Uganda on May, 6, 2012.
EVENT: 1st East African Roller Speed Skating Championships
Note that Nambole Stadium is also known as Namboole Stadium, the Uganda National Stadium, and (its current official name) the Nelson Mandela National Stadium. The multi-purpose stadium is primarily a football (soccer) stadium and it has a capacity of more then 45,000 people. The stadium was built using a $36 million grant from the People's Republic of China. Its grand opening event in 1997 was a concert featuring the South African Reggae artist Lucky Dube. The Mandela Naitonal Stadium is located on Jinja Road in the city of Kampala.
