National Museum and House of Culture
This museum in Dar es Salaam is the largest museum in Tanzania. It was known as the National Museum Dar es Salaam until its name was changed in 2003.

Olduvai Gorge Museum
This museum in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area of Northern Tanzania was founded by Mary Leakey in the 1970's. It features artifacts and exhibits related to the paleoanthropological research done in the area.
