is most famous for being rented in its entirety by the Jolie-Pitt
family while they were awaiting the birth of their first child
together, Shiloh Jolie Pitt.
About the Burning Shore Lodge
The Burning Shore Lodge is a small beachfront hotel with about
a dozen rooms and suites, a restaurant with indoor and outdoor
dining areas that can accommodate up to 50 diners, a cocktail bar,
and beautiful views of Namibia's Atlantic coast. All accommodations
have private bathrooms, televisions, and telephones and room service
is also available. The Burning Shore Lodge is the
Namibian hotel where Shiloh Jolie Pitt was born.
Protea Burning Shore Lodge
Twelve-room beachfront hotel on the edge of the one the
largest sand dunes in the world. Facilities on the
property include a bar and restaurant that can accommodate
up to 60 people and room service.
Day excursions can be arranged to visit
Sandwich Harbour, Bird Island,
the Walvis Bay Lagoon, the "moon landscape" area,
Dune Seven, and the Pelican Point Seal Colony.
