Ghanzi District of Botswana

Information about for visitors to the Ghanzi District of Botswana, located in the west central region of Botswana. The district is largely covered by the Kahalari Desert and some of it is also covered by a large seasonal wetland area known as the Makgadikgadi Pans. The western side of the Ghanzi District shares a border with Namibia. and the eastern side is largely covered by the Central Kahalari Game Reserve. The Ghanzi District is the least populated district in Namibia.
