Rio Longa Tented Fishing Camp
Rustic tent lodge situated on an island near the mouth
of the Longa River on the west coast of Angola.
Accommodations are in four tents all with
private bathrooms, hot and cold running water,
and beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean
across a beach. Activities include
fishing, bird watching, river cruises,
crocodile spotting, sea turtle tracking,
guided trail walks and day trips
to Kisama National Park and traditional fishing
villages. Note: he Rio Longa Lodge changed
management in 2011.
Flamingo Fishing Lodge
Fishing lodge with seven rustic bungalows
with showers and flushing toilets. Lodge
can accommodate up to 30 people, but
more people can be accommodated in tents.
Set on a beach, against low cliffs,
in the middle of 70 kilometers of
uninhabited coast. Activities and amenities
include ski boats, inflatable boats, quad bikes,
a wet bike, and parasailing.
Kwanza Tarpon Fishing Lodge
Lodge built on stilts on the
banks of the Kwanza River and
near the mouth of that river.
The lodge has six double bungalows
and four two room family bungalows,
all with private bathrooms and
air conditioning.
Foz du Cunene Fishing Lodge
Lodge on the banks of the Cunene River, about
3 kilometers from the mouth of that river,
that can accommodate up to 25 guests.
